What is preposition?

Preposition is a word that uses in front of a noun or pronoun to express the relation between words in front of and after the preposition

Example of preposition

  • The book is on the table. -- On is a preposition to tell us where is the book.
  • I will stay beside you forever. -- Beside is a preposition to tell us where I will stay.

Must know about preposition

  • Don't be confuse between preposition and conjunction. The preposition is for connecting words together while conjuction is for sentences or phrase.
